I got to the last day of the week for week 9 and realised I hadn't taken any photos. We've been going through a heatwave, Summer's last blast basically, and for 4 days straight we had 40°C - 45°C heat. I don't fare well in the heat and I don't have air conditioning in my apartment, and my motivation for anything dwindles as all my concentration is funneled into keeping cool.

I thought I'd take a couple of quick snaps around my apartment this morning. I don't know how to describe my place, it's a mix of minimalism, geekery and simplicity. The big hulking suit of armor is a Space Marine from the Warhammer 40k universe. Dan had it custom made by a prop maker in America a few years ago. It is wearable (a cosplay) and Dan wore it twice (once at a convention and the second and last time was when we did a little photo shoot together) but now it is purely ornamental. It is definitely a conversation starter and our property manager thinks we're the coolest, haha.
