Yesterday my friend and I made a special trip out to the Lindt Factory Outlet (literally a chocolate factory) to see what it was like. I love Lindt chocolate so I was excited to see what they had on offer and the prices.

When I first walked in I was super impressed - chocolate from floor to ceiling, mountains of Lindt balls, blocks of chocolate that covered entire walls. I went with a "Pick & Mix" box and crammed my container as tightly as I could with chocolate. For $26 I got nearly 1kg of Lindt chocolate in all different varieties (#cleaneating).

Everything else though was a bit meh. The blocks of chocolate and bags I can pick up cheaper in the grocery store when it's on sale. When I think "Factory Outlet" I think discount, damaged goods. These products all looked pretty good so I don't see why it would be a factory outlet.

This place also needs a coffee shop or a cafe or something. Currently there is nothing out this way because it's all under development, and if someone decided to add a good quality cafe it would go off.

I'm glad I took a break to get out of the house and meet up with my friend (who now lives closer to me as she just moved, yay!). The last few weeks for me have been a robotic cycle trying to clear my backlog of photography work and also working a new job. I think in another 2 weeks I'll have my backlog finally cleared and I can just relax a little bit. I have no idea how people can work full time jobs and also do something like photography full time as well, I salute them!
