Yes this is a combined post of weeks 23 and 24, no I didn't actually take any photos during week 23 :( If you follow me on Twitter you can see me complaining about my busyness (this period of being busy has really stretched on for far too long). Between working nearly full time hours at my new job and trying to clear my backlog it is now starting to eat into my own time. Just a constant cycle of work, eat, sleep, edit, repeat. I know it won't be like this forever and I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel now! I am looking forward to getting back into my gym and fitness routine, going for morning walks with a friend, playing video games and getting through my "to read" list. Goodreads tells me I am now 5 books behind my goal of 25 books read this year. God I miss reading!

I feel like this year is just flying by. I know everyone always says this but it feels like it was only just March, and now all of a sudden it's mid June. 

The above photos were taken this morning when I woke up. I always wake up really early now, even on my days off. I feel like I can get more done in the day and get a head start on the day ahead of me. I bought a new throw blanket for my living room and it is beautifully soft and cozy for the Winter that's creeping in right now. My zanzibar gem is growing so well! If you have a black thumb I would definitely recommend this house plant, it thrives on neglect. 

My new cosplay cards/business cards arrived yesterday, just in time for the Sydney Supanova Pop Culture Convention this weekend. Cosplay photography is where I started, back in 2013. I had no idea what I was doing but it was a great foundation for learning photography. I used to shoot a lot of it, both at conventions and organising shoots with cosplayers on location outside of conventions, but this hobby dropped off when my business picked up shooting weddings, events etc. Since I've taken a step back from my business I am now looking at doing more with this as a hobby in my spare time. I really do love it and enjoy creating these types of images. I don't have a website for this portfolio of work just yet, but I made a Facebook page and an Instagram. 

I probably won't get to post this Sunday, as I will be spending the entire weekend at this convention! I am so excited to finally get back to into it. Expect cosplay photos for week 25 :)
