This post is for the last 4 weeks of August and I haven't posted for about a month. I have missed a few weeks worth of photos for my 52 week photography project.

This has unfortunately turned into a little bit of a trend! Instead of rambling on about how busy I've been, I'm just going to jump straight into what I've been up to (and it's a lot!).

I recently completed the Sydney City2Surf which is the world's largest fun run. It spans 14 kilometers, it starts in Sydney and ends in Bondi Beach. I walked with a team from my work and we raised funds for UNICEF Australia. I beat my target of $250 and raised $277 which was amazing! It was a beautiful day, we had the most perfect weather (I even got a little bit burnt, woops!) and there were over 80,000 people in attendance all running and walking, most raising funds for their preferred charities. This also added to my Bucket List I believe as one of my long term goals is to do more for my chosen charity.

Lots of people dress up for the fun run! I saw this group of people in onesies walking ahead of me.

Managed to catch some new Pokemon and level up! (I'm not ashamed to say I had an extra battery pack prepared for the day).

Along with doing the City2Surf and generally working a lot, my partner Dan and I had to move house. Moving house is so stressful and there is always so much to do, but it was compounded by the fact that we were both working our regular hours while trying to move at the same time.

Not the prettiest of photos but this is why we decided to move. The vacant block of land directly behind us had started to be built on (8 stories high and 100 apartments) and it was just drilling 7 days a week, sometimes until 7pm at night. Once the apartments are completed we would have had no sun as well.

And my view from the kitchen window :( Luckily though after only a few weeks of looking for another rental, I found one that ticked every single box! We are now settling into our new townhouse and I can't wait to post photos once it looks a bit more in shape.

While we were both working and moving, I became deathly sick. So sick in fact that I was sent home from work. I had a severe case of influenza and had to have nearly 2 weeks off from work. It was a bit of a wake up call I guess as before that, even on my days off, I was just on all the time, in GO GO GO mode. When I became sick I was rundown, my fitness routines were non-existent and I had been doing so much that I forgot to relax and take care of myself. I guess my lack of posts and photos reflects that as well.
I have had time to recharge (under forced rest orders) and now I am trying very hard to make time to just relax and not be on all the time. I am going to try very hard to keep updating this blog every week with photos of my life and surroundings as I'm about halfway with the project now!

If you read my blog or follow my adventures I want to thank you for reading and commenting (both on the blog and Instagram), it means the world to me and I appreciate every comment. Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
